This is printed on the back of every sales receipt from Aritzia – the store’s refund policy. It starts off with such an empowering tone.
It’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind.
But when you read their actual return policy… not so empowering, init?
Nope. You get TEN days of prerogativeness and then it’s all demoted to store credit prerogativeness. And if you choose to purchase items on sale – no prerogative for you! Oh and if you choose to buy magazines, jewelry (and the rest of the list here), no prerogative either. And then there’s this part:
Merchandise must not be washed, worn or damaged.
You also don’t have the right to refund any used or defective products. Oh wait a second, you do have the prerogative to refund defective goods, as stated by the law.
Thanks Aritzia for one of the worst refund policies.
